Creative direction and project management of a multi million dollar website redesign and platform migration for InterContinental Hotels, IHG's flagship brand. Led the UX team in cooperation with Product Management, Web Marketing and Technology to develop the content rich e-commerce site using Agile methodology.
Challenged to create a modern, upscale yet approachable user experience that would lay the groundwork for future enhancements to IHG's robust online booking engine and hotel content management system, Rachel and the cross-functional team collaborated to bring the new brand experience to life in record time. When the site relaunched in December of 2011, IHG saw an immediate increase in conversion and engagement.
