In 2010, IHG was ready to
tackle a website migration and
redesign project for 11 brand
websites spanning 14 languages.
With an aggressive timeline and
limited resources, Rachel assembled
a team and began to work directly
with Global Brand, Technology and
Web Merchandising to streamline
and modernize 11 websites in 9 months.
Due to the timeline, project scope was restricted to a common code template which greatly limited the teams ability to differentiate the hotel brands. Using color, image and text styles alone, Rachel and the team pushed the limits and delivered 11 unique websites in record time.
Acting primarily as Creative Director and UX Manager, Rachel also represented the project within the corporate organization, developing and leading all presentations and communications. Final output of all website redesigns also included the development of individual brand Online Style Guides which are maintained by Rachel and her team of Interactive Designers.
