IHG was approached by Delta as they
were finalizing their new homepage design.
Delta wanted to feature partners on their
home page by allowing them to "takeover"
the imagery and promotional messaging.
With a 24 hour timeline, the merchandising team asked Rachel to find inspirational hotel imagery, and create a preliminary concept to present to Delta in hopes of becoming the first partner to be featured on Delta's new homepage.
Several concepts were delivered and IHG was featured a month later when Delta launched their new website design and homepage takeover pilot as seen in the last screen shot featured here. IHG also enjoyed increased site visits and awareness.
